SOUL WORK COMPANION
I offer myself as a midwife and companion through the holy and harrowing process we find ourselves in during times of transition, change, growth and evolution.
When an old version of ourselves is dying and begins to slip through our fingers, it can feel deeply unnerving, often harrowing, and yet there is a profound invitation and rebirth happening under the surface. We are invited to birth the next version of ourselves, and this often calls for a midwife to walk by our side. Someone who has been there…who has felt the raw excruciation of dying will still alive. Someone who knows the palpable intensity of the existential discomfort. The grief, the fear, the unknown…Someone who has rebirthed herself and knows not answers but the nature of this birth process, who is familiar with the landscape and value of the Underworld.
This is a period of Darkness. Not darkness as in evil. Darkness as in Womb.
I am obsessed with women’s liberation. I am obsessed with how rich and beautiful and intimate and precious and alive life feels when we face the trepid waters of transformation when they knock at our door.
I am obsessed with the soul work of women Becoming in the fires of transformation.
As Scott Erickson puts it, the ‘peculiar holy unsettling grace found in the process of changing, growing, evolving’.
We are taught to avoid the Underworld. We orbit and pathologise the discomfort. Which is why it often takes an initial traumatic event to begin a cascade of unravelling. But it is the very discomfort itself that is the unavoidable part of the initiation.
This work is deeply relational, somatic & experiential, and heart-centred.
You are coming home, more deeply and more truly than you ever have before.
Many women has sought me out over the years for this work (I think we are guided toward a midwife when we need one) and it’s always been weaved into my pelvic health work, naturally.
But I am now offering this as a stand alone offering. 1:1 midwife work.
